Day 83 - Horseshoe Bend/Lake Powell. I left the Canyon with my legs sore from the hike. I returned to the Trading Post for a Navajo Taco. It replaced the energy I lost the day before. I ate the whole thing. I grabbed a pair of local made slippers from mum as a gift. I followed the Canyon through the desert to Horseshoe Bend some hikers told me to see on the bus ride home last night. The desert sun was hot and the air was cool at 6500ft. The staircase rises as you head North. I pushed on to Lake Powell and to my campsite outside Zion National Park. It was $5 and an excellent spot. I cooked $3 worth of steak on the fire and if I stood on the picnic table I could get enough reception to send messages to my partner Azar Zamani šŸ‘‹
