Day 57 - Manhattan, New York. The ultimate destination of this trip. 10 photos on an iPhone won’t do the city justice. Janine and I took the train from Milford to Grand Central Station. A destination of its own, the station was filled with locals, tourists and everyone in between - an excellent gateway to the city. Stepping on the street from the gorgeous deli below the station you’re hit by the giant walls of the skyscrapers. Navigating the streets with my tour-guide holding her map upside-down I quickly got a feel for the East/West and Avenues. We hit Central Park another world among the bustling streets that showcases the superb city planning. We did Times Square, the advertising holy grail, Madison Square, Rockafella Center and some rooftop fun. My blisters were killing from Toronto as we push on home for a slice of pizza. It was huge day and I can’t thank my tour guide Janine Braider enough. She packed lunch, brought Tim Tams and gave me the low-down on the city that never sleeps. Manhattan is incredible and I can feel Carrie walking the streets of Sex and the City. Here’s somewhere I could loose myself for days in. I need a better camera 📷❤️
